Wednesday, July 30th, 2008Wisconsin grabbed more than 90 cheese awards last weekend at the American Cheese Society’s annual competition in Chicago, more than any other state in the nation (see all winners here).
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel highlighted the Wisconsin cheese wins and production, comparing it to California’s growing presence in the industry.
A special congratulations goes out to Wisconsin Artisan cheese producer Maple Leaf for their first place win in the Aged Cheddar category with their English Hollow Cheddar.
