Edible Parmesan Bowl

INGREDIENTS
1-1/4 cups (5 oz.) Sargento® Artisan Blends™ Shredded Parmesan Cheese

DIRECTIONS
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Baking Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4

  1. On a large cookie sheet coated with a cooking spray, spread heaping 1/3 cups cheese into four 6-inch circles, spacing the circles 1 inch apart. Bake in a preheated 400° oven 9 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown. Have ready four small (6 oz.) custard cups or four 3-inch diameter drinking glasses, turned upside down.
  2. When cheese has melted, immediately use a large spatula to drape each circle of cheese over the cups, pressing lightly with a pot-holder to form a bowl shape. Let stand until cool. Remove “bowls” from custard cups. Fill with Classic Parmesan Risotto. Makes 4 small bowls.

Tip: Edible Parmesan Bowls are also great for serving fruits and vegetable salad.

Bowls may be prepared up to 24 hours before serving. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
